Production of molded bodies comprises: (i) adhering together layers of paper and/or plastic films; (ii) cutting the layers with a cutting tool; (iii) sealing the surfaces by priming, infiltrating and/or lacquering or smoothing the pores on the surfaces by filling with a chemical hardenable agent; (iv) drying at up to 75 deg C; and (v) hardening at up to 90 deg C. Drying, infiltrating and hardening are carried out in a closed chain and the bodies are infiltrated with an infiltration agent.
