The aim of the invention is to facilitate and accelerate the construction of storage lifts on site. To achieve this, the lateral panels, which are provided with support sections (5) for storage goods carriers, of the shelving columns of each lift, each of said columns comprising four stays (4), are configured as mountable and dismountable panel elements (7). To increase the rigidity of the support sections (5), the panel elements have a sandwich-type structure, respectively consisting of a contoured plate (12) and a support plate (13) connected thereto by means of weld joints (20).
