PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal ornament made of a precious metal which is convenient and has mass-productivity and on the surface of which a black- type color is applied in a striped pattern and which is modern and rich in decorative properties. SOLUTION: The personal ornament made of the precious metal forms a hard carbon film on the surface of an ornament main body made of gold or a gold alloy in such a way that the outer periphery of the hard carbon film becomes to a notched striped pattern is provided.
