Harness (11) comprises a chest strap (12) passing behind the front legs of the animal and around the chest, a back strap running along the back, and two neck straps (16, 18) running on the left and the right of the neck. Two stomach straps (17, 19) running along the underneath of the animal form with the neck straps one-piece belts (14, 15) which cross over. An Independent claim is also included for an alternative harness. Preferred Features: The straps are made of plastic. A connecting buckle (20) made of plastic or a flexible material is provided at the crossing point of the belts. The position of the connecting buckle and the length of the belts can be adjusted.
