<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a rolled sheet material from shape deterioration much effectively during acceleration and deceleration of rolling speed. SOLUTION: A rolling mill 1 is equipped with work rolls 2 to roll a rolled sheet material S, intermediate rolls 5, 6 capable to change bending pressure, and back-up rolls 8, 9 capable to adjust a roll crown. The rolling mill 1 has also a load cell 14 to measure a rolling load and a correction unit 50. The correction unit 50 gives a bending pressure correction signal which is for correction of the bending pressure F applied on the intermediate rolls 5, 6, based on the difference (P-PL) between a measured value P by the load cell 14 and an initial rolling load PL at a start of rolling, and a roll crown correction signal for correction of a roll crown profile of the top back-up roll 8.</p> |
