PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing acrylamide having good preservation stability, and hardly affecting the polymer properties of the acrylamide by using a microbial catalyst. SOLUTION: The microbial catalyst having catalytic activities for converting acrylonitrile to the acrylamide is used for the converting reaction after washing the catalyst with an aqueous solution of the acrylic acid.
