A rod guide (50) associated with each latch rod (40) comprises a housing and an adjacent cavity open on both sides of the box door (12). The housing receives the rod by allowing its longitudinal sliding and the cavity clips the rod guide on a pin (60) fixed to the door in order to allow slight pivoting of the rod guide following movement of the rod.
