PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable fine adjustment without hitting a wedge member by tightly contacting each intermediate plate in the lateral direction and mounting it to an upper table of a press brake. SOLUTION: The upper table 3 and the side of the intermediate plate 7 in the press brake are connected using a mounting plate 21. A height adjusting member 37, having a tapered surface 35 in the longitudinal direction so as to adjust the height direction of the intermediate plate 7, is interposed between the upper table 3 and the intermediate plate 7. A tapered surface 39 abutting on the tapered surface 35 in a reverse tapered manner is provided on the upper surface of the intermediate plate 7. A restoring energizing means 49 is provided for regularly energizing the height adjusting member 37 in the direction of the mounting plate 21. An adjusting pressing member 53 for pressing the height adjusting member 37 against the energizing force of the restoring energizing means 49 in the opposite direction thereof is mounted on the mounting plate 21 to be freely movable to any position. The height adjusting member 37 is moved backward by the movement of the adjusting pressing member 53, while being automatically moved forward by the energizing force of the restoring energizing means 49.
