The invention relates to an arrangement for the screening and crushing of bulk material, the arrangement separating a desired grain size and oversize material from one another, and reducing the oversize material to the desired size, the arrangement comprising a plurality of disk shafts 2 rotating about axes of rotation having the same alignment, on which disks toothed disks 4 have been arranged or formed at an interval from one another, which are arranged so that disks of adjacent axes overlap one another, so that the upper surface of the disk shaft arrangement forms a track for the material that is to be processed. In order to optimize the simultaneous screening and crushing process and to improve on the existing process, the disks 4 of adjacent shafts and the shaft surfaces 2 between the disks form compartments for material particles of desired size, so that in operation of the arrangement the disk shaft arrangement simultaneously screens material of the desired size and crushes oversize material. <IMAGE> |
