The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for filling a swimming pool with salty/brackish water, wherein salty/brackish water of a certain temperature is pumped up from underground, the water pumped up is used as swimming water, and the water, after a predetermined time, is returned to the ground near the location where the water was pumped up. The water, having been pumped up, can be subjected to various treatments to make it suitable as swimming water or to keep the water clean. Optionally, the salty/brackish water can be heated before being used as swimming water, for example by means of a heat pump or the like. Preferably, the water returned to the ground is pumped up again after a while. |
