A supply valve (36) and an arrangement for supplying, testing and draining a fire suppression water sprinkler system in- cludes a supply valve (36) which has a valve member (84) with at least first (140), second (144) and third (146) ports. The selective rotation of the valve member (36) varies communication between the inlet (66 ) of the valve and one or more outlets (64, 68) for the valve. A sensor (38) for detecting a flow of water through the supply valve is provided within valve member (36) and has a mem- ber (120) which is generally aligned with a turning axis of the valet member . The flow sensor arrangement may be provided in a valve of general utility.
