The invention relates to a body-contact layer, meant to be used as a liner, for personal care absorbent articles, and also to an absorbent article containing the same. According to the invention, the body-contact layer comprises a perforated film-type layer (22) overlapping and contacting a separation layer (26), and characterized in that the perforated film-type layer (22) has an apertured area percentage between 10 and 30 %, the separation layer being a thick fibrous nonwoven layer, having thickness between 0.76 and 3.8 mm and weight between 17 and 85 g/square m, and the average dimension of the pores of the nonwoven fibrous layer (26) between 100 and 400 micro m. According to the invention, the absorbent article comprises a body-contact layer (12) and a back layer (14) having an absorbent core (16) between them, the body-contact layer comprising a perforated film-type layer (22) overlapping and contacting a separation layer (26), said article being characterized in that the perforated film-type layer (22) has an apertured area percentage between 10 and 30 %, the separation layer being a thick, fibrous nonwoven layer, with thickness between 0.76 and 3.8 mm and weight between 17 and 85 g/square m, and the average dimension of the nonwoven fibrous layer (26) being between 100 and 400 micro m. |
