<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste melting plant capable of generating slug which can easily be re-utilized, rendered innoxious from waste such as mainly garbage and stabilized. SOLUTION: The waste melting plant comprises a crusher 2 to crush waste conveyed from a refuse pit 1 and charged, a waste hopper 3 to store the crushed waste, a waste drying furnace 4 to dry and carbonize waste conveyed from the hopper 3 through a conveyor 30, a waste melting furnace 9 to melt carbonized waste, charging from the drying furnace 4 through the hopper 5, a carbonized waste storing part 6, and a kneader 7 by a thermit agent charged from a thermit agent storing part 8, a secondary combustion furnace 10 to induce and burn exhaust gas generated in the melting furnace 9, a slug ladle 11 to store molten slug dropping after the passage of it through the secondary combustion furnace 10 from the waste melting furnace 9, an ash duct 12 to recover ash in exhaust gas; heat exchangers 13 and 14 to cool exhaust gas, and a dust collecting device 15 to remove fly ash in exhaust gas.</p> |
