<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for controlling gas permeability by using a film having such a sufficient gas permeability as not inhibiting the respiration of vegetables and fruits, shutting off outside air to the extent of maintaining a gas composition exhibiting a CA-preserving effect, having a strength sufficiently durable as a packaging material for the vegetables and fruits, and having good transparency. CONSTITUTION:The method for controlling the gas permeability of a multi- layered film produced by laminating a non porous resin layer to a polymethylpentene film comprises using polyethylene for the nonporous resin layer to control the oxygen and carbon dioxide permeability of the whole film. As embodiments, a method for controlling the gas permeability comprising controlling the oxygen and carbon dioxide permeability of the whole film by changing the thickness of the polyethylene, and a method for controlling the gas permeability comprising controlling the oxygen and carbon dioxide permeability of the whole film by changing the specific gravity of the polyethylene.</p> |
