<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the fitting work of a wooden tread by fixing the wooden tread on a metallic tread fitted to a string through the adhesive, and fixing the wooden tread by screw members inserted from a lower side of the metallic tread. SOLUTION: A steel tread 20 is mounted on strings 16, 16. The adhesive 35 is applied to the steel tread 20 in its longitudinal direction. A wooden tread 36 is placed thereon, and fixed by screwing a bolt 37 inserted from a back side of a tread body 23 of the steel tread 20 into a back side of the wooden tread 36 and fixed thereto. A nut 38 provided with a screw on its outer circumference in advance is screwed in the wooden tread 36, and the bolt 37 is screwed into the nut 38, and fixed. A riser 42 is fitted to a groove 41 formed on a back side of a projecting part of the wooden tread 36 through a cushioning material 43. A plywood substrate is not fitted in advance like in a conventional practice, but the wooden tread is fixed by the adhesive and the screw members, and the work is simplified, and the fitting can be completed in a short time.</p> |
