PURPOSE: An internet phone service system and method is provided to generate a one click image icon or an electronic name card for enabling a member to request an internet phone call, and to transmit the generated image icon and the electronic name card via an e-mail. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises an internet interface(105), a member registration device(110), an icon generator(115), an icon transmitter(120), a program provision device(125), a communication channel setter(130), a voice signal processor(135) and a member management database(140). The icon generator(115) generates a one click image icon by using name card data stored at the member management database(140). The icon generator(115) offers various image icons, for example, a phone image icon, a phone number image icon, or a character image icon, to a terminal of the member, then the user selects one image icon, and then the icon generator(115) stores the selected image icon at the member management database(140). The icon transmitter(120) attaches the selected image icon or electronic name card at an e-mail, and transmits the attached image icon to the member. The communication channel setter(130) receives an icon identifier, an authentication code and a URL if the member clicks on the one click image icon, and compares the transmitted authentication code with the authentication code stored at the member management database. If the compared authentication codes are identical, the communication channel setter(130) sets a communication channel between the terminal of the member and a phone of a call destination by connecting to a PSTN via the voice signal processor(135).
