PURPOSE: A display control system is provided to enable an embedded computer to receive display data over a network, to process the received display data, and to manage a display state. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a plurality of user computers(A1-An), a central management server(40), a management computer terminal(42), a database(44), and a plurality of display data receiving/displaying stations(B1-Bn). The central management server(40) receives multimedia display data including various PR or advertisement contents from the user computers(A1-An), stores the multimedia display data at the database(44), and transmits control instructions to the display data receiving/displaying stations(B1-Bn) for displaying the multimedia display data according to a reservation period or a display interval requested by a user. The display data receiving/displaying stations(B1-Bn), placed at remote places from the central management server(40), display the multimedia display data according to control instructions by using components such as switching hubs(C1-Cn), web cameras(D1-Dn), embedded computer terminals(E1-En), and displays(F1-Fn). The switching hubs(C1-Cn) receive the display data from the user computers(A1-An) or moving pictures taken by the web cameras(D1-Dn) according to the control instructions of the central management server(40), and switch a transmission path for transmitting the received display data to the embedded computer terminals(E1-En).
