CUTOFF STRUCTURE OF GAS CUTOFF

PURPOSE: A cutoff structure of a gas cutoff is provided to prevent generation of an impulse between a fixed arc contact and a movable arc contact and lower intensity of electric field of the fixed arc contact by improving a structure of the gas cutoff. CONSTITUTION: A SF6 gas is filled into a puffer cylinder(601). A piston(602) is moved within an inner space of the puffer cylinder(601). A movable main contact(603) is used for passing normal current or intercepting abnormal current. A nozzle(606) is used for contacting a movable arc contact(604) with a fixed arc contact(605) or separating the movable arc contact(604) from the fixed arc contact(605). A projection portion(607) is formed by a conductive material such as graphite. The projection portion(607) is installed in a neck part of the nozzle(606). The projection portion(607) is used for preventing an impulse from the fixed arc contact(605) when the movable contact(604) is separated from the fixed arc contact(605).
