PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for removing a complex multi-user interference are provided to divide a parallel interference removing block into several sets, remove an interference about assigned users, and apply a serial interference removing method between residual parallel interference removing blocks. CONSTITUTION: A user matching/assigning block(50) detects a signal component of each signal from a received signal. The first and second parallel interference removing blocks(52,53) apply a parallel removing method to an inputted user signal, and detect a user signal. The user matching/assigning block(50) assigns the detected signals of users to the first and second parallel interference removing blocks(52,53). The first and second judging blocks(54,55) connect to the first and second parallel interference removing blocks(52,53), respectively, and judge a digital signal level of the users detected in the first and second parallel interference removing blocks(52,53). The first and second parallel interference removing blocks(52,53) connect in series, perform the interference removement and user detection as to only a successively assigned user signal. The parallel interference removing block, which primarily performs the interference removing process, inputs a signal from which a signal regenerated from the receiving signal through the interference removement is subtracted to the parallel interference removing block which secondarily performs the interference removement. |
