METHOD FOR TESTING ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS USING VISION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for testing electronic components using a vision system is provided to enhance reliability and satisfaction by testing the electronic components within a short time. CONSTITUTION: Electronic components are transferred to a feeder portion by a hopper(S1-S4). The electronic components are transferred to a rotating portion through a liner feeder(S5,S6). The electronic components are aligned by an alignment portion(S7). The electronic components are photographed by a camera(S8-S11). The photographed image signal is transmitted to a micro computer(S12). A test for the electronic components is performed(S13). A position of a bad electronic component is detected by a counter sensor and a decoder(S14). The position information is transmitted to a micro computer(S15). Confirmation data of the micro computer are transmitted to a control portion(S16). The electronic components are discharged to a good component discharge box or a bad component discharge box according to an output signal of the control portion(S17-S21). A test process is finished if all operations are performed(S22,S23).
