CODING METHOD BASED ON OPTIMUM SEARCH OF ERROR RESILIENT ENTROPY CODING AND DEVICE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A coding method based on the optimum search of error resilient entropy coding and a device thereof are provided to prevent the rapid error propagation in case of decoding by using search patterns of minimum deterioration of screen quality of estimated recovery images. CONSTITUTION: A coding method based on the optimum search of error resilient entropy coding includes the steps of coding an input signal(motion picture coding part;22), storing coded a bit list by error resilient entropy coding unit(temporary bit list storing part:24), determining a bit number generated in each macro block in the error resilient entropy coding units, determining an optimum searching pattern from the determined bit number(searching pattern determining part:26), and reconstructing the stored bit list according to the optimum searching pattern(error resilient entropy coding part:28).
