SOUND BOOK EQUIPMENT AND PAGE COGNITION METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A sound book equipment is provided which generates related sound with contents of folded pages of a book by recognizing page number using page code of the book. CONSTITUTION: The sound book equipment comprises a book on which a page code part that is used in recognizing pages is formed; a sensor part(12) which is installed at one side of a book resting part where the book is put on so as to recognize the page code part; a memory(13) in which voice and sound information on contents of the pages recognized by the sensor part(12) is stored; a sound data processing part(14) for processing voice data stored in the memory(13); a D/A converter(15) for converting digital voice signals into analog signals; a voice output part(17) for outputting the voice and sound signals that are converted into the analog signal and amplified by an amplifier(16); and a Micom(18) for controlling processes of sending the data to a voice data processing part(14) and outputting the processed voice data after finding from the memory(13) data corresponding to page numbers recognized by the sensor part(12), wherein the page code part is formed at one side of each pages of the book, a protecting region is formed around the page code part, and the sensor part(12) is separately consisting of a floodlight part(12a) projecting light onto the page code part, and a light receiving part(12b) into which light reflected from the page code part is received.
