GAS VALVE

PURPOSE: A gas valve is provided to set up a minimum gas flow rate according to the kind of used fuel gas, and to stop the supply of the fuel gas even when a foreign body is fit in a flow control valve. CONSTITUTION: A flow control valve(6) moves an operation rod(3) forward after a gas opening/closing valve(4) is opened, and controls the flow rate of gas according to the movement of the operation rod(3). The fuel gas is supplied to a gas outflow part through a bypass passage(9) for communicating an inner passage(15) in the upper part of the flow control valve(6) with the gas outflow part until the flow control valve(6) is opened. An orifice(91) for setting the minimum gas flow rate of the fuel gas is formed at the bypass passage(9).
