PURPOSE: A shadow mask for color CRT is provided to increase volume of shadow mask by widening cross sections of the strip and real bridge, while reducing doming by increasing thermal capacity of the shadow mask. CONSTITUTION: A shadow mask for color CRT comprises a plurality of strips(71,71') arranged to be spaced apart from each other at a thin plate; a real bridge for forming a slot for passage of electron beams by interconnecting the strips; and a reinforcement unit formed at the edge of the slot so as to widen the cross section of the strip and the cross section of the real bridge, while avoiding disturbance to the advancing of electron beam passing through the slot. The reinforcement unit includes a first section(74) formed at the electron beam emission side of the slot, and a second section(75) formed at the electron beam incidence side of the slot.
