PURPOSE: A power steering gear inspection apparatus for motor vehicle is provided to easily check an oil leakage caused due to the damage of packing, and easily check damages to each member through an abnormal operation of power steering gear. CONSTITUTION: A power steering gear inspection apparatus comprises a vice(2) for tightening a power steering gear(1); an oil pump(3) for feeding oil to the power steering gear; an oil reservoir(4) for feeding to the oil pump; an oil suction pipe(5) having an end connected to the oil reservoir and the other end connected to the oil pump, and which sucks oil in accordance with the pumping operation of the oil pump; an oil feed pipe having an end connected to the oil pump and the other end connected to an oil feed port(7) of the power steering gear, and which feeds oil to the power steering gear in accordance with the pumping operation of the oil pump; an oil outlet pipe(8) having an end connected to an oil outlet port(9) of the power steering gear and the other end dipped into the oil reservoir, and which circulates the oil discharged from the power steering gear; and a handle type inspection unit(11) connected to a handle connection port(10) of the power steering gear, and which rotates to drive the power steering gear and inspect the oil leakage from the power steering gear or motion of the power steering gear.
