PURPOSE: A short control device of a turn signal lamp is provided to prevent the interruption of other traveling by optionally performing side lamps as the turn signal lamp. CONSTITUTION: NAND gates(A1,A2) is connected with output terminals of left and right turn signal lamps(L1-L4) for NAND. Relays(RL1,RL3) performs switching operations by connecting with each output terminal of the NAND gates. Transistors(TR1,TR2) outputs signals by turning on through power from an output terminal of an igniting switch(IG1) and by connecting with a timer(T1) and the left and right turn direction lamps. Relays(RL2,RL4) directs directions through side lamps(I1-I4) by connecting its output terminals with the side lamps. OR gates(A3) is connected with an alarm lamp(F) to inform the short of the turn signal lamps to a driver. Thereby, the side lamps function as the turn signal lamps when the turn signal lamps are shorted.
