PURPOSE: A printer having height adjustable ink head unit is provided to print an object regardless of the volume or thickness of the object, while improving print quality and shorten work time. CONSTITUTION: A printer comprises a transfer unit(32) fixed onto a frame(30), and which transfers an object to be printed; an ink head unit installed at the center of the frame, and which injects an ink to the surface of the object transferred by the transfer unit, in accordance with the print command output from a computer; a driving unit including a driving motor(31) and a driving shaft(35) for driving the transfer unit; guide rollers(33,34) installed onto the frame, and which guide entrance and exit of the object to be printed; an operation unit for operating each unit; and an elevating unit(40) installed onto the frame, such that the elevating unit is perpendicular to the movement direction of the object to be printed, wherein the elevating unit automatically or manually moves the ink head unit in a vertical direction in accordance with the volume and thickness of the object.
