PICTURE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A picture communication system is provided to resolve the lower transmitting/receiving speed of the serial communication by connecting a general terminal with an external serial camera via a DM port or a bluetooth I/F, thereby realizing the picture communication even with a general terminal not incorporating a camera. CONSTITUTION: A picture communication system includes an RF communication terminal(200) for transmitting or receiving data to and from an external picture communication terminal(400), a camera module(100) for compressing and transmitting photographed image data, and a connecting element for transmitting the image data compressed by the camera module to the RF communication terminal, wherein the connection element is a D/M port or a bluetooth I/F(500) in the RF communication terminal and the D/M port is connected to the camera module via a serial cable.
