SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the improved catalyst as compared with the available prior art used for synthesis of liquid hydrocarbons from low-molecular oxygen-containing organic compounds. Catalyst comprises crystalline alumosilicate of type pentasil with a value of mole ratio of silicon oxide to aluminum oxide from 25 to 120, sodium oxide, zinc oxide, rare-earth metal oxides and a binding agent where it comprises oxides of the following composition as rare-earth element oxides, mole %: cerium oxide, 3.0; lanthanum oxide, 65.0; neodymium oxide, 21.0; praseodymium oxide, the balance. To each value of silicon oxide to aluminum oxide in crystalline alumosilicate of type pentasil the definite range of values of sodium oxide content corresponds in the following ratio of the catalyst components, wt.-%: crystalline alumosilicate of type pentasil, 63.0-70.0; sodium oxide, 0.12-0.30; zinc oxide, 0.5-3.0; rare-earth elements oxide of indicated composition, 0.1-3.0; binding agent, the balance.
