PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the same or similar e-mail from being distributed in classifying e-mail in each category and distributing the e-mail to a desired user. SOLUTION: This information distribution system is configured by connecting an information distribution server 2 and a plurality of terminals 1 through a LAN 3 while the information distribution server 2 classifies the e-mail being distribution objects in each category and distributes newly registered e-mail to a user registered in a desired category, and is provided with a controlling part 24 for retrieving a distribution history DB 27 when e-mail is newly registered, extracting e-mail that has been distributed for one month and deciding whether there is e-mail coinciding with the newly registered e-mail among the pieces of extracted e-mail, and an information transmitting part 23 for transmitting the newly registered e-mail to the user if there is no coinciding e-mail as a result of this decision.
