PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily access required information with a simple operation at the time of retrieving information data distributed on a communication network such as the Internet. SOLUTION: A retrieval system is provided with an accumulation means by individual classifications, which retrieves Web pages (information data) distributed on the Internet based on an arbitrary keyword, classifies the Web pages in accordance with the contents, accumulates address information on the Web pages for the respective classifications and accumulates the respective keywords in association with the respective classifications, an access part obtaining the keyword through the Internet, a retrieval engine retrieving address information on information data belonging to the classification associated with the obtained keyword and a display means displaying the retrieval result of a retrieval means for the respective classifications to which the retrieval results belong.
