SUBSTANCE: mill stand has housing for combined reducer-pinion stand with two drive shanks, and two pairs of mounting lugs arranged on end and side outer surfaces of housing. Ends and axes of drive shanks and supporting surfaces of lugs are extending in mutually perpendicular directions and in equally spaced relation with respect to rolling line. Cassette mounted on said housing comprises overhung rolls, whose drive shafts are provided with axial adjustment mechanisms. Mill stand of such construction may be mounted in mill stand line adapted for manufacture of small section rolled products and acceptable for vertical and horizontal arrangement of working roll axes.
