PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instructing means of device operation capable of quickly and surely explaining 'how to operate' without using an y instruction manual. SOLUTION: This instructing means for operating a device is provided with a device appearance (3A) to be displayed in a first window (3) displayed on a display picture (1) of the device and respective part designation buttons (3B-3M) for indicating the designations of the respective parts of the device. When the respective part designation buttons (3B-3M) are clocked, a second window (4A) for displaying the operating instructions of the corresponding parts is opened.
