<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized transformer assuring a creepage distance between the outer surface of a primary winding and a core in a bobbin structure of the so-called 'P-S docking type'. SOLUTION: The small-sized transformer comprises a primary side bobbin 1, on which a primary winding is wound, a secondary side bobbin 2 disposed at the outside of the bobbin 1, a core 3 associated thereon and having an intermediate leg 4 previously inserted into a hollow part of the inside of a winding shell 6 of the bobbin 1. The transformer further comprises a cylindrical part 13 formed, by protruding the inside of the upper side flange 12 of the bobbin 2 from above downwardly, from the upper side flange 9 part of the upper end of the shell 6 of the bobbin 1 to the inside of the shell 6.</p> |
