PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin slot capable of being miniaturized, and preventing the coins from being jammed, and further from being left behind due to forgetting. SOLUTION: This coin slot is provided with a first face turnably mounted in a coin charging slot 17 for closing the coin charging slot 17 when it faces an input port 23, and a second face 19d having a dimension which is not sufficient to close the coin charging slot 17, when it faces the inlet port 23; and a shutter 19 is mounted to position the first face oppositely to the inlet port 23 to close the coin charging slot 17 when the coin can not be charged, and to position the second face 19d facing the inlet port 23 to open the coin charging slot 17, when the coin can be charged.
