PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal fixing device capable of uniformly heating a heating area for thermally fixing a recording medium on the basis of an inductive heating method, improving durability and reducing cost by using simple and compact constitution and an image forming device provided with the thermal fixing device. SOLUTION: A transmission member 32 consisting of a magnetic material is connected to both the end parts of a heating roller 26 consisting of a magnetic material and an induction coil 33 is wound around the periphery of the transmission member 32 on the axial direction outside of the roller 26. When an alternate current is applied to the coil 33, the member 32 transmits inductive magnetic flux and the whole heating roller 26 is directly heated. Since the coil 33 is not damaged by heat, the durability of the coil 33 can be improved and the heating roller 26 for thermally fixing paper 3 can be uniformly heated by the simple constitution on the basis of the inductive heating method.
