PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operational amplifier that exhibits a high-speed response with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The operational amplifier is provided with a differential circuit, a 1st transistor(TR) the gate of which receives an output of the differential circuit, and an output correction circuit that is activated when the drain-source voltage of the 1st TR reaches a prescribed voltage or exceeds it so as to correct the output of the differential circuit in a way of decreasing the drain-source voltage of the 1st TR to be smaller than the prescribed voltage.
