PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor memory realizing optimum transfer operation in accordance with an application. SOLUTION: An address input means 1 receives an input of an address. A readout means 2 reads out automatically and successively data corresponding to the address of 1 inputted through the address input means 1 from banks 5-1 to 5-m of m (<=n) pieces. A data output means 3 outputs data read out from the banks 5-1 to 5-m of m pieces by the read-out means 2 to the outside as batch data.
