SOLUTION: This Internet facsimile machine 1 is provided with a means for instructing e-mail test transmission, a means for generating mail for test transmission to be transmitted on the basis of the instruction, and a means for transmitting the generated mail for test transmission with the mail address of its own machine as a transmission destination.
