PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic message board system capable of easily and surely notifying only an object person desired to be notified of a desired message. SOLUTION: A receiving part 401 receives message information transmitted through a network such as the Internet 100, a storing part 402 stores the message information received by the receiving part 401, a display controlling part 403 displays only a portion of the message information stored by the storing part 402 on display screen 404, a message information outputting/displaying part 406 outputs or displays all or a portion of the message information stored in the storing part 402 in such a manner that an operator corresponding to contents of the message information displayed on the display screen by the display controlling part 403 performs a prescribed operation, and allows the object person who sees the message information displayed on the display screen 404 to confirm the detailed contents of the message without letting others know the message.
