PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated core that can be manufactured easily where winding operation can be made easily and at the same time, handling is facilitated in transport and winding operation, and to provide a method for manufacturing the laminated core. SOLUTION: In the laminated core 1, a split laminated core 10 has a split- yoke section 10Y and a teeth section 10T, and a first split core piece and a second split core piece that are mutually laminated core connection. A projection 11p, at the connection end section of the first split core piece in one split laminated core 10 out of adjacent cores, is loosely fitted to a long hole 12h at the connection end section of the second split core piece at the other split laminated core, a specific number of split laminated cores are connected in endless manner, and the same time, an annular yoke section is composed, so that its diameter is expandable. The, individual first split core piece and second split core piece are formed separately, at the same time, the first split core piece and the second split core piece are mutually laminated for caulking connection, while the projection 11p is fitted into the long hole 12h, thus manufacturing the laminated core.
