PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a sub-interphone unit easily, even after the interphone in set by mounting the sub-interphone unit on a panel set at a corner of a wall and rather not on the wall. SOLUTION: The door-phone system includes a sub-interphone unit 1 set at a front door of a house, an apartment house or an office, and a main interphone unit connected to the sub-interphone unit 1 through a communication line and set in a room. A panel 4 that covers from the floor to the ceiling is set at a corner 5 constituted by walls 2 near the front door and a wiring space 8 is provided thereby. The sub-interphone unit can be mounted freely on the front face of the panel, and the wires like a communication path and a power line are wired from the sub-interphone unit through the wiring space at the rear side of the panel to the rear face of the ceiling or to the lower side of the floor.
