PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser exposure device capable of prolonging the life of a semiconductor laser even if the semiconductor laser is cooled to a room temperature and obtaining satisfactory laser exposure. SOLUTION: The device is provided with the semiconductor laser 105, a holding block 101 holding the semiconductor laser 105, a cooling means 141 for cooling the semiconductor laser 105, a collimator lens 111 making light beams emitted from the semiconductor laser 105 almost into luminous fluxes, a collimator lens holder 110 which is arranged in the holding block 101 and holds the collimator lens 111, and a heat insulating layer 121 which is disposed between the holding block 101 and the collimator lens holder 110 and whose heat resistance is not less than 50 deg.C/W.
