PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a record for authentication which is forged less easily, and to provide a method for determining veracity using only record information in the record for authentication. SOLUTION: The record for authentication records the face image and cryptography information, in which characteristic data extracted from the face image is coded by a secret key in accordance with the public key cryptography. The veracity of the record for authentication is determined by the degree of similarity of the characteristic data, extracted from the face image recorded in the record for authentication to cryptography information recorded in the record for authentication. |
