PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce device costs, and to reduce energy required for preventing dew condensation by accurately detecting the state of dew condensation in the original reading device of an image forming device without using any special means, and performing dew drop removal control. SOLUTION: This original reader of an image forming device is provided with a gain adjusting means for outputting adjustment data obtained by operating the gain adjustment of an analog signal from a photoelectric transferring means, a reading means for reading the adjusted output of the gain adjusting means, and a means for judging whether or not any dew condensation occurs from the secular fluctuation of the read adjusted output value and for controlling a dew condensation preventing heater based on the judgment. |
