METHOD OF RECORDING ON ELECTRONIC BANKBOOK, ELECTRONIC BANKBOOK REGISTRATION SYSTEM, AND COMPUTER-READABLE ELECTRONIC BANKBOOK RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-efficient method of recording on electronic bankbooks enabling a financial institution to provide electronic bankbooks with transaction detail data recorded thereon, an electronic bankbook registration system, and an electronic bankbook recording medium. SOLUTION: A user performs user authentication using a client terminal 10 and transmits a medium identifier 121 recorded on the electronic bankbook recording medium 11 to the electronic bankbook registration system 20. A management computer 21 creates a bankbook identifier from the medium identifier 121 received and data on bank accounts. Further, the management computer 21 encrypts the bankbook identifier using a bank secret key 251 to create bank signature data. The computer 21 then transmits the bankbook identifier and the bank signature data to the client terminal 10. The client terminal 10 records these data on the storage medium 11. The electronic bankbook recording medium 11 authenticated by the bank is thus created.
