PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a linear motor which can realize a precise feed. SOLUTION: A plurality of magnets 56 with identical shapes are cut out of a plate-like work having magnetism and the plurality of cut-out magnets 56 are layered and, in the layered state, sides of the magnets 56b are polished together. A plurality of spacers 57 with identical shapes are cut out of a plate- shaped work made of nonmagnetic material and the plurality of cut-out spacers 57 are layered and, in the layered state, sides of the spacers 57b are polished together. With such a constitution, a stator, on which magnets 56 are arranged with a uniform pitch, can be formed and accurate feed can be realized. |
