PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support system for helping a person having visual difficulty in which a remote helping supporter can give instruction on advice that is necessary to movements such as decision, action and danger avoidance to a person having visual difficulty by voice by utilizing a telecommunication network. SOLUTION: This support system for helping a person having visual difficulty by utilizing the telecommunication network consists of portable terminals of persons having visual difficulty provided with an electronic imaging function for fetching images of visible objects around, a sound conversion function for generating a sound output from a signal transmitted from a helping supporter side and a signal transmitting and receiving function, one or more terminals of helping supporters provided with a function for receiving an image signal fetched by the electronic imaging functions of the portable terminals of the persons having visual difficulty and displaying the image signal on a display and a function for transmitting information such as decision and an instruction about the displayed image, and a system controlling part for comprehensively controlling the terminals of the persons having visual difficulty and the terminals of the helping supporters through the telecommunication network and performing control so as to obtain helping service matching requests of the persons having visual difficulty by relaying and connecting optimum terminals to each other. |
