PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid production of a deformed antenna element in the case of manufacturing a small antenna by a method (insert molding method) that sets the antenna element in metallic dies and resin is injected in the metallic dies. SOLUTION: A plurality of support chips 16 extended outward are integrally molded to both side edges of the antenna element 12. Split faces of the upper and lower metallic dies 28A, 28B clamp the support chips 16 and a gap is provided to a part of the split faces of the metallic dies 28A, 28B not clamping the support chips 16. The resin molding is made such that excess resin intrudes to the gap to form a burr when the resin is injected in the cavity of the metallic dies 28A, 28B. Since the resin pressure in the metallic dies 28A, 28B is suppressed lower, the deformation of the antenna element 12 hardly takes place and the small-sized antenna with the stable characteristic can be obtained. |
