PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line width uniformity evaluating method for evaluating line width uniformity with proper balance to the perception of a person independent from a reference setting method for the width of a segment to be measured, and vertical/lateral segments in evaluating the quality of an image outputted by an image output device, etc. SOLUTION: The image outputted by the image output device is read, the widths of the segments printed inside the image and across the images are measured, a line width uniformity evaluation quality is calculated by the line width uniformity evaluation quantity=N×(maximum linewidth-minimum linewidth)/average line width and the uniformity of the linewidth is evaluated. |
